About Me:

Why did you join this class?

I joined this class because for the longest time I have been making videos. All of these videos were basic with a simple type of camera like a GoPro, but I found that I loved the process. Editing videos is my favorite part of making films. I always found myself editing as a stress relive. This class is going to give me a million opportunities to explore different equipment and editing systems I have never even heard of before.

What do you want to get out of this class?

I want to become more creative and collaborative. This class is going to push me well out of my comfort zone, while working with older kids, and coming up with new ideas to film. I tend to stay in a place where I know that I can succeed or excel at. I want this class to open my horizons to a bunch of new techniques and types of films.

What do you know about cinematography?

I know that it is the art of making different films. Cinema is not limited to anything. There are many different possibilities for you to explore and try. Cinema is making art come to life by different lighting, camera angles and editing.

What do you want to know about cinematography?

I want to know how to capture different angles to express what the characters are feeling. I also want to know more about different kinds of lighting to make my shot better. The most exciting thing that I want to learn is how to use different types of equipment. For example the number one thing I want to learn soon is a drone.

What type of films would you like to make?

I would like to make action sports films, comical PSA's, interviews, and recreations of tv show openings.

What motivates you to work hard?

Things that motivate me to work hard is to have an end result that people will be impressed with.Positive things that people will say at the end if the job is done well motivates me. Also having a strong, open group that I can be myself and enjoy working around.

What are five things that you want to do now in your life?

What was your favorite subject in school? Why?

My favorite subject in school is english or history. I like these subjects because in these subjects I am able to research and write about different topics. I like having the freedom to write and or research different events and present it with the class and teacher.

Biggest Character turn-off for you?

A big characteristic tun off for me is when someone always wants to be in control. Someone who always want to be the center of attention instead of working with a team.
